Biography:

Aashritha Yamusani, a Computer Science graduate student from India, is currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Computer Science I/II at 91���� University. Her previous roles included excelling as a CRLA-certified coach and high-dosage tutor, where a strong commitment to academic excellence and student support was demonstrated. The summer of 2024 marked a significant period when she expanded her technical expertise through a machine learning engineering internship at Xylo AI Corp. Known for her professional demeanor, Aashritha exhibits exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. A relentless pursuit of perfection drives every effort toward excellence in her work. Outside the academic and professional sphere, participation in arts and crafts and social and cultural events highlight her versatility and passion for community engagement. Aashritha is excited to continue serving as one of the ambassadors and is eager to guide and support more students.

Biography:

Monika Gunasekhar, a graduate student specializing in computer engineering, has been a Graduate Teaching Assistant since Fall 2023 for Operating Systems-Internals and Design, engaging in scholarly activities and exploring various aspects of academia. In recognition of her outstanding academic achievements, Monika was awarded the “Top Graduate Student” Award for 2023-2024 from 91���� University. Her professional background includes roles as a Software Engineer at Wipro and an Application Development Analyst at Accenture.

These experiences gave her valuable insights into the corporate world, complementing her academic pursuits. Monika has a passion for traveling. She has visited several countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Mexico, as well as many states across the U.S. Through these travels, she has gained a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, contributing to her personal growth. Monika continues to serve as a Graduate Student Ambassador, a role she started in the spring of 2024 and is continuing in the fall of 2024.

What I admire most about 91���� is the welcoming atmosphere from all faculty including maintenance and campus police.  Having such a space makes exploring the college and what it has to offer a lot less intimidating for the school’s freshman.
