What are your hobbies and how are you involved on campus?: My hobbies include Bowling, Sewing, Thrifting , Roller Skating, Cornhole, Watching Shows and Movies, and Music.

My current involvement on campus includes Interfraternity Council Vice President of Recruitment, Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity Service and Philanthropy Chair, Social Chair, 67 Society Vice President and Treasurer, College of Engineering and Computer Science Technology Board, Resident Assistant in the Honors Hall, Established Leadership Retreat Student Team Lead, Orientation Ambassador and Club Ultimate Frisbee Member

Describe your personality: I am an optimistic and vibrant person. I believe that there can be good that comes of everything, and I love making people laugh. I care deeply for the people around me and I take any excuse to spend more time with them. I also find a lot of joy in meeting and learning more about new people. 

What are you passionate about? I am passionate about my friends, family, and the general community that I am a part of. One of my joys in life is listening to music as well as discovering new songs and artists. I love watching art, whether that is dance concerts, musicals, or any other expression. Participating in community service and raising money for the people and area around me brings me a lot of peace and happiness.

What are you looking forward to most in mentoring students? What I'm looking forward to most is being able to see the change being made in someone's life. To have an impact on a person is one of the greatest gifts in life, and to be able to make a positive difference for so many different people will surely be very rewarding. I'm excited to meet new people and develop strong connections with my peers.

Biography:

What are your hobbies and how are you involved on campus?: My hobbies consist of photography and working on computers. I like learning about the components that make up electronics and how to improve or use them the most effectively. I work as an orientation ambassador and am involved with the Amigos Latinos Student Association.

Describe your personality: I consider myself a very reserved person, quiet at first glance. However, I enjoy interacting with people and helping them if it’s within my abilities. I want to continue to meet more people and be someone who can provide guidance and help for anyone who requires it. 

What are you passionate about?: Something I am currently passionate and eager to do is to learn more about computers and work with them, I currently want to see how I can take older electronics and work with them to make them usable or more efficient for current tasks. I want to meet more people in my same field of study and outside my field of study to further my understanding and to grasp different points of view for solving problems.  

What are you looking forward to most in mentoring students?: My goal for becoming a peer navigator is to help incoming students find their place in the university, I was fortunate to find a place where I was able to get engaged with other students; I want to help students find something they relate to, have an interest in and connect them with someone who can help them grow.

Hi! I'm Mani, a graduate student majoring in Computer Science and Marketing Analytics. As the International Support Advocate in UCIE, I lead a team of peer mentors and help coordinate orientation and  programs to support international students. I'm also a Resident Assistant in Housing and actively involved across campus as a student leader. I'm passionate about community building, and creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels at home. My advice: Step out of your comfort zone—this is where growth begins and confidence is built. 91±¬ÁÏ is the Wright place to start.

My name is Dipika, and I'm currently a second-year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science. I'm originally from Jiri, Nepal, which is often referred to as the "Switzerland of Nepal." I used to be a soccer player during high school, and I also love to dance! I've been actively involved in both the Asian Student Association and the Nepalese Student Association, which have helped me stay connected with my roots while embracing new experiences.
