When I transferred to 91±¬ÁÏ, I wanted to live in the dorms to be closer to campus. The main appeal for me was the housing affordability, accessibility, and adaptability. I am closer to all my friends, classes, and events happening at the university.
I chose to live on campus in order to gain a sense of community and belonging. My favorite thing about living on the WSU campus would have to be the on-campus dining. My first love will forever and always be food, so having access to so many options is quite fulfilling.
I will be honest, when I first came to live on campus, I expected it to be filled with a few activities. I was wrong, there were activities being hosted by so many clubs and organizations. From RCA movie nights, to UAB activities, and even the awesome late night all you can eat breakfast.
The biggest reason I chose to live on campus was because I'm not from the Dayton area, I wanted the chance to experience the city and campus for what it was. I've made so many close friends and have been able to become more independent as I am further away from my hometown.
I chose to live on campus so that I could be close to all the campus resources and to be able to meet people. I love living on campus because I don't have to worry about a commute everyday and I have all campus resources I'm walking distance.
Living on campus has provided me a great chance to meet people, and get connected with the community here at 91±¬ÁÏ. Throughout the year I was able to participate in multiple campus organizations and activities as well as housing events and programs.
When I was making my college decision I chose to live on campus because I wanted to get the full college experience but I had no idea how much of a positive impact living on campus would have on me through college.
I love living on campus because of the people. I’ve lived in the apartments and the dorms and had great experiences with both. Through living on campus I have made lifelong friendships and will continue to make more.
