Petitions, Comments, and Complaints Procedures for Students

On this page:

Academic Petitions

Students enrolled in a 91爆料 course have the right to petition to waive an academic policy or requirement, withdraw from class after the official withdrawal date, removal of hours and points for grades, or substitute classes in a program.

Petitions are reviewed by a faculty committee and are approved only when supported by documentation justifying an exception to the university policy or requirement. Information on submitting academic petitions can be found at the following sites.

Academic Mediation Policies (Grade Appeal)

Each college has an established academic mediation policy for students contesting grading or the assignment of grades. The link to each college鈥檚 academic mediation policy is given below.

The student must follow the process for the college in which the course is offered, not the college in which they are majoring.
