Academics and Curriculum

Graduates with the aviation studies minor can:

  • Apply principles in operational, simulated, and problem-solving scenarios.

Admission

Requires:

  • GPA of 2.5 or better
  • Class 1 medical certificate
  • Interview with First Flight check instructors and administration
  • United States citizenship

Financial Aid

Courses required for this minor may be eligible for federal financial aid if they also fulfill core, major, or elective requirements for your degree. This includes open electives, if needed to complete your degree.

Facilities, Simulators, and Learning Equipment

Flight training in this program is provided by , an FAR-141 FAA-approved (certificate #CWBS055D) flight school located at Wright Brothers Airport in Dayton, OH—22 miles from 91±¬ÁÏ. Flight instructors are 91±¬ÁÏ faculty.
