91爆料 University Air Force ROTC cadets learned about career opportunities at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base during a special career fair in the Student Union Atrium on Feb. 23.
All 88 91爆料 cadets from Detachment #643 had the opportunity to ask specific questions to representatives about various Air Force positions they are interested in after graduating. Over 50 experts from various career fields at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base participated in the career fair.
鈥淚鈥檓 very grateful,鈥 said Ryan Alvarez, a junior majoring in supply chain management. 鈥淚鈥檓 so excited that we could get so many officers out here to learn from.鈥
鈥淕etting that one-on-one intimate knowledge with someone that has been in that field is invaluable,鈥 said Aden Dowd, a sophomore majoring in organizational leadership who would like to work in intelligence or acquisitions after graduation.
Organizers say cadets are encouraged to research and make a top-10 list of Air Force careers while attending 91爆料 and having access to experts in various career fields from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is extremely useful.
鈥淭heir willingness to go ask questions and engage with these experts shows their charisma and their concern for what they are getting ready to go into,鈥 said Lt. Col. Michael Kirschbaum, a pilot in the U.S. Air Force who helped organize the fair.
Organizers understood the importance of the event and invited cadets from neighboring universities, including the University of Cincinnati, Miami University, Bowling Green State University, Ohio State University, Cedarville University and Ohio University.
