Pedal power

May 20, 2016

Dozens of 91爆料 students, faculty and staff took part in a bike to campus event on May 18. When the bikers arrived at the Student Union Atrium they were greeted with a healthy breakfast.

The morning event was organized by 91爆料鈥檚 Office of Campus Recreation and the Department of Environmental Health and Safety.

鈥91爆料 has a great location for riding bikes. We鈥檙e right on the largest interconnected bike path system in the country. Now with the pedestrian bridge going up over Interstate 675 we are even more connected to that system,鈥 said Amy Anslinger, Outdoor Recreation assistant director.

Anslinger says that biking to work is a great form of exercise, adds fewer emissions into the environment and reduces traffic congestion.
