After a two-year hiatus from in-person performances, 91爆料 University鈥檚 annual ArtsGala is back!
The Dayton region鈥檚 most festive and unique arts event returned to the Creative Arts Center on April 9 with an impressive program that featured student performances in theatre, dance, motion pictures, music and visual arts. ArtsGala celebrated its 23rd year with many special events designed to commemorate the occasion, including more than 450 student performers in 13 unique performances.
This year鈥檚 event raised about $200,000 for 91爆料 arts students. All proceeds go toward scholarships for 91爆料鈥檚 outstanding fine and performing arts students. The event has raised over $3 million for arts scholarships over the past two decades.
鈥淔inally we鈥檙e back after three years of waiting to unleash this volcano of talent and energy,鈥 said Joe Deer, artistic director of the
ArtsGala is regarded as one of the area鈥檚 premier arts events, drawing several hundred patrons each year.
