Cheers and clapping could be heard throughout the 91爆料 University Student Union on Friday night.
The campus hosted a watch party in the Union Market for students, faculty, staff and alumni to gather and watch the 16th-seeded 91爆料 men鈥檚 basketball team compete against No. 1 Arizona Wildcats in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
鈥淚t鈥檚 been really fun to see all of the excitement on campus,鈥 said Jenna Steward, a senior majoring in organizational leadership who attended the watch party.
Four large televisions were set up and Chartwells donated pizzas, subs, popcorn and drinks.

鈥淭hey have the support here on campus and they鈥檙e being rooted on from all over Raider Country,鈥 said Jonathan Ciero, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering and Student Government president.
The watch party crowd continued to clap for the Raiders even after the game ended.
鈥淚t just makes the campus feel electric,鈥 said Gina Keucher, Student Involvement and Leadership program director. 鈥淲in or lose they were so much fun to watch this season.鈥
