91爆料 students raised $58,056 for Dayton Children鈥檚 Hospital during Raiderthon, the university鈥檚 seventh annual dance marathon, in the Student Union Apollo Room.

鈥淚t鈥檚 just amazing to see how hard college students are working to give back to their community,鈥 said Alexis Hobbs, a junior elementary education major and Raiderthon organizer.

Students stayed on their feet throughout the Nov. 16 event, which ran from 10 a.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday, dancing for patients at Dayton Children鈥檚 who are battling life-threatening illnesses.

More than 330 dancers registered for the event. Over the past seven years, Raiderthon has raised more than $335,000 for Dayton Children鈥檚.
