As the 91爆料 women鈥檚 basketball team celebrated its Horizon League Championship victory over Green Bay on March 12, students, faculty and staff huddled around televisions across campus to celebrate with them.
The Raiders secured the program鈥檚 .
The lunchtime game was broadcasted on large televisions located in the Rec Commons area of the Student Union and in the Hangar in Allyn Hall.
For the second straight year, the Milano鈥檚 restaurant in Beavercreek hosted a watch party for 91爆料 fans who wanted to support the men鈥檚 basketball team in the Horizon League championship game.
Over 200 patrons packed the restaurant to root on the Raiders, including David Garrison, a retired professor of Spanish and Portuguese. 鈥淭he teams did a great job this year and we鈥檙e proud of them,鈥 said Garrison.
Although the men鈥檚 team lost in the championship game, they will receive an invitation to the NIT basketball tournament next week.
