It was a full house in the 91���� University Student Union Atrium on March 6, as students, faculty, staff and community members gathered to witness university history.

Cheryl B. Schrader, chancellor of Missouri University of Science and Technology, was . Trustee Grace Ramos captured the significance of the moment when she said she was “pleased to have a role in breaking the glass ceiling at 91���� University.”

“I am both honored and humbled to be the seventh president in the history of 91���� University,” said Schrader. “And I do have to let you all in on a little secret — seven is my lucky number.”
