鈥淐elebrating quilt stories鈥 was the theme of the quilt show held Jan. 19 to Jan. 21 in the Apollo Room of the Student Union at 91爆料 University.
The fourth annual show featured hundreds of handcrafted quilts. Each quilt was accompanied by a story from the quilt maker, giving guests a glimpse into what inspired each artist.
鈥淲hat we are trying to do is allow fiber artists to show off their work,鈥 said Linda Morgan, show organizer.
Members of the 91爆料 Knitting and Crocheting Circle made hats, gloves and scarves at the show. Students interested in a warm crocheted item can pick one up for free during Scarf Frenzy on Friday, Jan. 27. The event will be held on the second floor of Dunbar Library beginning at noon until supplies last.
An auction was held on Saturday, Jan. 21, with proceeds supporting a 91爆料 student scholarship.
