Student on the Scene鈥擱aiderthon

More than 600 91爆料 University students, staff and faculty danced their tails off for 15 hours during a fundraising dance marathon that raised $50,389 for Dayton Children鈥檚 Hospital.

The first Raiderthon held at 91爆料 began Saturday, Nov. 16 in the Student Union Apollo room at 10 a.m. and continued until 1 a.m. the next morning. The event included live bands, disc jockeys, techno music, line dancing, belly dancing, zumba, a gymnastics performance, a fashion show, a performance by the 91爆料 Emerald Jazz Dance Team and a chemistry demonstration.

Families benefiting from the fundraiser were also in attendance. Each year, Dayton Children鈥檚 provides care for more than 290,000 infants, children and teens.
